This product has the advantages of high strength, high wear resistance, anti-flaking and anti-scouring. It is suitable for rotary kiln kiln mouth, pre-tropical zone, calcination zone, cooling machine, feed nozzle and other parts. The product is suitable for calcination and roasting of cement, limestone, magnesia, ilmenite and non-ferrous metal ore, with strong acid and alkali corrosion resistance and good wear resistance and long service life.

The Castable for Carbon Calcined Rotary Kiln product family is offered in three engineering-proven JZ chemistry grades. The CH-JZ70 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 70% for highest-demand carbon calcined rotary kiln service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.6 g/cm3 after 110 °C curing for 24 hours, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 40 MPa after 110 °C curing for 24 hours, minimum 70 MPa after 1000 °C firing for 3 hours, and minimum 80 MPa after 1300 °C firing for 3 hours, Modulus of Rupture minimum 10 MPa after 110 °C curing, minimum 12 MPa after 1000 °C firing, and minimum 16 MPa after 1300 °C firing, Permanent Linear Change maximum 0.02 percent after 110 °C curing. The CH-JZ45 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 45% for general demand carbon calcined rotary kiln service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.4 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 35-70 MPa depending on curing/firing condition, Modulus of Rupture minimum 6-10 MPa depending on curing/firing condition, Permanent Linear Change maximum 0.02 percent. The CH-JZ60 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 60% for higher-demand carbon calcined rotary kiln service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.4 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 36-65 MPa depending on curing/firing condition, Modulus of Rupture minimum 4-10 MPa depending on curing/firing condition, Permanent Linear Change maximum 0.01 percent.
