Products Overview
Our Castable for Permanent Lining is a high-performance steel fibre reinforced ultra-low cement castable engineered for tundish permanent lining service. The product family is characterized with good flow ability, easy installation, good anti-spalling and thermal shock resistance, which can meet the needs for quick installation and circulation of tundish. The products also perform well on slag and molten steel corrosion and penetration as well as thermal and structural spalling resistance, which ensure long service life and safe steel casting.
The Castable for Permanent Lining product family is offered in five engineering-proven JZ chemistry grades. The CH-JZ-60 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 60% for general tundish permanent lining service. The CH-JZ-65 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 65% for higher-alumina tundish permanent lining. The CH-JZ-70 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 70% for high-alumina tundish permanent lining. The CH-JZ-75 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 75% for higher-demand tundish permanent lining. The CH-JZ-80 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 80% for highest-alumina tundish permanent lining. All five grades deliver Bulk Density minimum 2.35 to 2.70 g/cm³ after 220 °C curing for 24 hours, Permanent Linear Change ±0.5 percent after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours, and Cold Crushing Strength minimum 35 to 40 MPa after 110 °C curing for 24 hours and minimum 40 to 55 MPa after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours.
