Low cement castables for reduced nickel kiln by Zhengzhou caihua adopt low iron mullite, flint clay as the main raw material and have the properties of excellent CO erosion resistance, high strength and good thermal shock resistance for reduced nickel kiln service.
The Castable for reduced nickel kiln product family is offered in two engineering-proven HZ chemistry grades. The CH-HZ45 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 45% and Fe2O3 content maximum 1.2% for general reduced nickel kiln preheating zone service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.3 g/cm3 after 110 °C drying for 24 hours, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 50 MPa after 110 °C drying for 24 hours and minimum 45 MPa after 1300 °C firing for 3 hours, Thermal Conductivity maximum 1.00 W/m.k at 800 °C hot side, Maximum Service Temperature 1100 °C, and Application for Preheating zone. The CH-HZ55 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 55% and Fe2O3 content maximum 1.2% for higher-demand reduced nickel kiln reduction zone service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.4 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 60 MPa after 110 °C drying for 24 hours and minimum 50 MPa after 1300 °C firing for 3 hours, Thermal Conductivity maximum 1.1 W/m.k at 800 °C hot side, Maximum Service Temperature 1400 °C, and Application for Reduction zone.
