Our Frame brick is a high-performance refractory product engineered for industrial furnace lining frame and burner block connection service. This series of products are characterized with high strength, good abrasion resistance, good thermal shock resistance, and excellent performance for industrial furnace frame service.

The Frame brick product family is offered in three engineering-proven BK chemistry grades. The CH-BK55 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 55% for general industrial furnace frame service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.45 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 35 MPa after 110 °C drying for 24 hours and minimum 50 MPa after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours, and Permanent Linear Change maximum 0.5 percent after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours. The CH-BK60 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 60% for higher-demand industrial furnace frame service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.50 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 40 MPa after 110 °C drying for 24 hours and minimum 55 MPa after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours, and Permanent Linear Change maximum 0.5 percent after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours. The CH-BK65 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 65% for highest-demand industrial furnace frame service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.55 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 45 MPa after 110 °C drying for 24 hours and minimum 60 MPa after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours, and Permanent Linear Change maximum 0.5 percent after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours.
