Products Overview

Our Bubble alumina is a high-performance lightweight insulating refractory aggregate engineered for lightweight insulating castable, lightweight insulating brick, high temperature furnace back-up lining, and petrochemical reformer insulation service. Also known as alumina hollow sphere or alumina bubbles, this product is manufactured by Zhengzhou caihua from high purity Al2O3 raw material through high temperature melting and atomization process to produce stable, hollow sphere structured aggregate. The product family features high alumina purity 99 percent, hollow sphere structure, low bulk density 0.4-1 g/cm3, and high temperature resistance up to 1825 °C.

The Bubble alumina product family is offered in two engineering-proven chemistry grades per customer specifications. The High purity grade features Al2O3 content minimum 99 percent, SiO2 content maximum 0.2 percent, Fe2O3 content maximum 0.1 percent, and Na2O content maximum 0.3 percent for high purity atmosphere industrial furnace service. The High strength grade features Al2O3 content minimum 98.5 percent, SiO2 content maximum 1 percent, Fe2O3 content maximum 0.08 percent, and Na2O content maximum 0.25 percent for higher mechanical strength high temperature refractory service. Both grades deliver Stacking density 0.4-1 g/cm3, Rate of reduction maximum 15 percent, and Size 0-7 mm particle size distribution per customer specifications.

Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Bubble alumina grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory raw material standards.
