Products Overview
Our Aluminum-magnesium castable is a high-performance refractory product engineered for ladle and hot metal ladle high temperature furnace lining service. The product family is mainly prepared from raw materials such as corundum, magnesia, and spinel. The material has the characteristics of high temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and good thermal shock resistance, mainly used for the lining of high temperature furnaces such as ladle and hot metal ladle, with stable performance and long service life.
The Aluminum-magnesium castable product family is offered in three engineering-proven LMJZ chemistry grades. The LMJZ90 grade features Al2O3+MgO content minimum 90% for high-demand ladle and high temperature furnace lining service. The LMJZ85 grade features Al2O3+MgO content minimum 85% for higher-demand ladle and high temperature furnace lining service. The LMJZ80 grade features Al2O3+MgO content minimum 80% for general ladle and high temperature furnace lining service. All three grades deliver Bulk Density minimum 2.8 to 2.9 g/cm3 after 110 °C curing for 24 hours, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 30 MPa after 110 °C curing for 24 hours and minimum 60 MPa after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours, and Permanent Linear Change 0 to +1.2 percent after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours.
Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Aluminum-magnesium castable grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
