Products Overview

Our Gunning Mix for Converter and Ladle is a granular refractory gunning product engineered for converter and ladle cold repair lining service. The main raw material is magnesia. The material shows good bonding with the body at high temperature, with the characteristics of corrosion resistance and erosion resistance, which can significantly prolong the service life of the converter and the ladle.

The Gunning Mix for Converter and Ladle product family is offered in three engineering-proven PBL chemistry grades. The PBL70 grade is the mid-magnesia variant with magnesia content 70 percent or higher and bulk density 2.3 g/cm³ or higher. The PBL80 grade has magnesia content 80 percent or higher and bulk density 2.4 g/cm³ or higher. The PBL85 grade is the high-magnesia workhorse with magnesia content 85 percent or higher and bulk density 2.5 g/cm³ or higher. All three grades deliver 3 mm critical granule and adhesive quality 85 percent or higher.

Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Gunning Mix for Converter and Ladle grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
