Products Overview

Our Silica Ramming Mass for Induction Furnace is a pre-mixed dry ramming material for furnace lining, manufactured from refined high silicon, low iron quartz sand, quartz powder, and an appropriate amount of fused silica sand as the main refractory raw materials. The product family delivers higher refractoriness and is characterized by no slag, no crack, no moisture failure, easy repair, and corrosion resistance, especially extending the service life of the induction furnace and significantly improving economic efficiency.

The Silica Ramming Mass for Induction Furnace product family is offered in four engineering-proven DDL chemistry grades. The DDL-1 Silica grade and DDL-2 Quartz grade are pure silica options with silica content of 98 percent or higher and refractoriness of 1700 to 1750 °C. The DDL-3 Silica-SiC grade and DDL-4 Quartz-SiC grade are silicon-carbide enhanced options with silica content of 98.5 percent or higher, SiC content of 5 percent or higher, and refractoriness of 1700 to 1750 °C. All four grades deliver bulk density of 1.9 to 1.95 g/cm³ and cold crushing strength of 55 to 60 MPa after firing.

Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Silica Ramming Mass for Induction Furnace grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
