The CH-VD85 grade features MgO+Al2O3 content minimum 85% for general VD furnace cover and splash guard service. The CH-VD90 grade features MgO+Al2O3 content minimum 90% for higher-demand VD furnace cover and splash guard service. The CH-VD92 grade features MgO+Al2O3 content minimum 92% and Cr2O3 content minimum 2% for highest-demand VD furnace cover and splash guard service. All three grades deliver Bulk Density minimum 2.90 to 3.05 g/cm³, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 40 MPa after 110 °C curing for 24 hours and minimum 60 MPa after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours, and Permanent Linear Change ±0.5 percent after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours.
