Our Al2O3-SiC Castable for Iron Mixer is a high-performance monolithic castable engineered for iron mixer sidewall, bottom, top, and tapping hole lining service. The product family is manufactured from high-quality bauxite, tabular corundum, and SiC as the main raw materials, with low-cement or ultra-low cement castable technology. The product family features good installation integrity, good volume stability, excellent slag erosion resistance, and thermal shock resistance, with proven performance for iron mixer lining service.

The Al2O3-SiC Castable for Iron Mixer product family is offered in three engineering-proven HTJ chemistry grades. The CH-HTJ-L70 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 70% and SiC content minimum 12% for working lining at side wall and bottom service. The CH-HTJ-L65 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 65% and SiC content minimum 12% for top and tapping hole service. The CH-HTJ-L55 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 55% and SiC content minimum 10% for top and tapping hole service. All three grades deliver Bulk Density minimum 2.40 to 2.60 g/cm³, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 25 to 40 MPa after 110 °C curing for 24 hours and minimum 55 to 60 MPa after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours, with Permanent Linear Change ±0.4 to ±0.6 percent after 1400 °C firing for 3 hours.
