Products Overview
Our Bubble alumina brick is a high-performance lightweight insulating refractory product engineered for high temperature industrial furnace lining, petrochemical methane reformer lining, hydrogen furnace lining, carbon black reactor lining, and ultra high temperature kiln heat insulation material. Also known as alumina bubble brick or alumina hollow sphere brick, this product is manufactured by Zhengzhou caihua from high purity alumina fused and blown into hollow microspheres at temperatures above 2100 °C. The fundamental technical difference lies in its primary aggregate: the Alumina Hollow Sphere, which is produced via a high-energy process where compressed air is blown through a stream of molten alumina to create thin-walled, hollow ceramic balls with a trapped air pocket inside, reducing the brick’s overall weight by 60% compared to dense corundum bricks while maintaining the chemical inertness of the corundum phase.
The Bubble alumina brick product family is offered in four engineering-proven chemistry grades per customer-provided data. The CHSAH99 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 99.3%, SiO2 content up to 0.15%, Fe2O3 content up to 0.1%, Bulk Density 1.5-1.8 g/cm³, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 12 MPa, Initial Softening Temperature under Load minimum 1700 °C, and Max Service Temperature 1800 °C. The CHAH99 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 99%, SiO2 content up to 0.3%, Fe2O3 content up to 0.1%, Bulk Density 1.5-1.8 g/cm³, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 15 MPa, Initial Softening Temperature under Load minimum 1700 °C, and Max Service Temperature 1800 °C. The CHAH90 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 90%, SiO2 content up to 9%, Fe2O3 content up to 0.2%, Bulk Density 1.4-1.9 g/cm³, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 18 MPa, Initial Softening Temperature under Load minimum 1700 °C, and Max Service Temperature 1800 °C. The CHAH85 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 85%, SiO2 content up to 14%, Fe2O3 content up to 0.2%, Bulk Density 1.4-1.9 g/cm³, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 18 MPa, Initial Softening Temperature under Load minimum 1700 °C, and Max Service Temperature 1750 °C.
Per customer-provided data, CH Refractories Alumina Bubble Insulation Bricks are mainly used in refractory materials, industrial ceramics, electronic ceramics, petrochemical industry, metallurgy and other industries of the lining of high temperature kiln, and as the heat insulation material of ultra high temperature kiln.
