Products Overview
Our Corundum-mullite-SiC wear-resistant refractory plastic is a high-performance refractory plastic product engineered for CFB boiler and other high temperature furnaces difficult construction locations service in power and petrochemical industry. The high-strength wear-resistant refractory plastic refers to a mixture of high-grade refractory materials such as corundum, mullite or silicon carbide, and a binder and an admixture (anti-shrinkage agent, preservative, antifreeze). The high-strength wear-resistant refractory plastic is a semi-wet mud material. When it is added water or aluminum dihydrogen phosphate or other liquid and mixed into a mud material, which is pressed or extruded into a block material having a certain plasticity. When the hammer is hit, the refractory plastic is deformed without cracking or slumping, and the deformed shape can be maintained after the external force is released.
The Corundum-mullite-SiC wear-resistant refractory plastic product family is offered in five engineering-proven GMS and TG chemistry grades. The GMS-65 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 65% for general CFB boiler and high temperature furnace service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.5 g/cm3 after 110 °C drying for 24 hours, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 70 MPa after 850 °C firing for 3 hours, Normal Wear maximum 7 cm3 after 850 °C firing, Permanent Linear Change 0.4 percent to 0 after 850 °C firing, Thermal Shock Resistance minimum 30 cycles after 850 °C firing, and Plasticity Index 15-40 percent. The GMS-75 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 75% for higher-demand CFB boiler service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.7 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 80 MPa, Normal Wear maximum 6 cm3, Permanent Linear Change 0.5 percent to 0, and Thermal Shock Resistance minimum 30 cycles. The GMS-85 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 85% for highest-demand CFB boiler service, with Bulk Density minimum 2.8 g/cm3, Cold Crushing Strength minimum 90 MPa, Normal Wear maximum 5 cm3, Permanent Linear Change 0.5 percent to 0, and Thermal Shock Resistance minimum 25 cycles.
