Products Overview

Our Firing-Free Ramming Mixes for Iron Runner are ramming refractory compounds manufactured from corundum, high-quality bauxite, and silicon carbide, bonded by resins and tar. The product family is engineered to be installed by ramming and does not require baking after installation, allowing the Iron Runner to be put into service directly. The result is an Iron Runner lining with good slag erosion resistance, excellent thermal shock resistance, and easy installation.

The Firing-Free Ramming Mixes for Iron Runner product family is offered in three TGD grades (CH-TGD-50, CH-TGD-55, and CH-TGD-65) covering an Al2O3 content range of 50% to 65% and a silicon-carbide-plus-carbon content range of 15% to 20%. The CH-TGD-50 grade is optimized for small-size blast furnace slag troughs. The CH-TGD-55 grade targets small to medium-size blast furnace Iron Runners. The CH-TGD-65 grade delivers the highest alumina content for medium-size to larger blast furnace Iron Runners.

Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Firing-Free Ramming Mixes for Iron Runner is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
