Products Overview
Our Magnesia Chrome Brick is a high-performance refractory brick engineered for RH degasser and secondary refining ladle lining service. The product family is manufactured from sintered magnesia and chromite as the main raw materials with high-temperature sintering process, showing high refractoriness, excellent thermal shock resistance, and good slag erosion resistance. The product is widely used in steelmaking secondary refining operations where demanding slag attack and thermal cycling conditions exist.
The Magnesia Chrome Brick product family is offered in five engineering-proven MCr chemistry grades with three bonding types. The CH-MCr-D26 grade (fused re-bonded MgO-Cr2O3) features MgO content minimum 53% and Cr2O3 content minimum 26% for circulation tubes, bottom groove, and other erosion parts. The CH-MCr-D20A grade (fused semi re-bonded MgO-Cr2O3) features MgO content minimum 50% and Cr2O3 content minimum 20% for dip tubes, bottom through, and central through positions. The CH-MCr-B20A grade (fused semi re-bonded MgO-Cr2O3) features MgO content minimum 50% and Cr2O3 content minimum 20% for upper through and similar positions. The CH-MCr-B16A grade (direct-bonded MgO-Cr2O3) features MgO content minimum 55% and Cr2O3 content minimum 16% for upper tube and hypo-working lining positions. The CH-MCr-Z8A grade (direct-bonded MgO-Cr2O3) features MgO content minimum 65% and Cr2O3 content minimum 8% for secondary working lining service.
Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Magnesia Chrome Brick grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
