Products Overview

Our Dry Ramming Mixes for EAF Bottom are granular refractory ramming products engineered for Electric Arc Furnace bottom lining service. The product family is manufactured from high-purity magnesite, premium Fe2O3-CaO magnesite, and additives based on particle dense packing principle, showing excellent resistance against steel penetration, superior erosion resistance, easily-sintering characteristics, high bulk density, and easy installation. The product is an ideal choice for HP and UHP Electric Arc Furnace bottom service.

The Dry Ramming Mixes for EAF Bottom product family is offered in three engineering-proven DLD chemistry grades. The CH-DLD85 grade is the high-magnesia workhorse with magnesia content 85 percent or higher. The CH-DLD80 grade is the mid-magnesia variant with magnesia content 80 percent or higher. The CH-DLD68 grade is the high-CaO variant with magnesia content 68 percent or higher and CaO content 18 to 25 percent. All three grades deliver SiO2 content 1.5 percent or lower and bulk density of 2.40 to 2.45 g/cm³ or higher after 1600 °C firing for 3 hours.

Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Dry Ramming Mixes for EAF Bottom grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
