Products Overview
Our Precast Block for EAF Steel Pouring Spout is a precast refractory product engineered for Electric Arc Furnace steel pouring spout and tapping spout block service. The product family is manufactured from corundum, mullite, and Al2O3-SiC-C based raw materials, offering good erosion resistance, good thermal shock resistance, and long service life under demanding EAF steel pouring cycles.
The Precast Block for EAF Steel Pouring Spout product family is offered in two engineering-proven chemistry grades. The CHDCAMT-80 grade is manufactured as Al2O3-SiC-C based assembled brick with bulk density of 2.80 g/cm³ or higher and cold crushing strength 35 MPa or higher. The CHDCY-85 grade is manufactured as mono-cast corundum-mullite based block with Al2O3 + MgO content 80 percent or higher, Al2O3 content 85 percent or higher, SiC + C content 8 percent or higher, bulk density of 2.80 g/cm³ or higher, and cold crushing strength 40 MPa or higher.
Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Precast Block for EAF Steel Pouring Spout grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
