Prefabricated Block for EAF(Electric Arc Furnace)
Application Industry: Refractories for Steel Industry
Application Equipment: Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Top Cone Lining
Size: Custom prefabricated block geometry per EAF top cone design (free engineering on request)
Products Overview
Our Prefabricated Block for EAF is a precast refractory product engineered for Electric Arc Furnace top cone lining service. The product family is manufactured from high-grade alumina and chrome oxide raw materials with an appropriate binder and additive system, offering accurate size, stable performance, short construction period, and low cost compared to fired refractory bricks.
The Prefabricated Block for EAF product family is offered in two engineering-proven DLD chemistry grades. The DLD-85 grade is the high-alumina workhorse with alumina content 85 percent or higher for high-demand EAF top cone service. The DLD-80 grade is the mid-alumina variant with alumina content 80 percent or higher and chrome oxide content 2 percent or higher for standard EAF top cone applications. Both grades deliver bulk density of 2.8 g/cm³ or higher after 110 °C curing for 24 hours and cold crushing strength of 30 MPa after 110 °C curing and 60 MPa after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours.
Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Prefabricated Block for EAF grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
