Products Overview

Our Carbon-free and Environmental Friendly Dry Masses is a high-performance refractory dry mass engineered for ladle permanent lining and high quality steel production. The product family is an innovative, high quality and green materials. The new product, which contains inorganic binder and sinter aid, does not generate toxic gases during installation and pre-firing which is environmental friendly and does not increase C or H content of steel, and can meet the requirement for high grade steel production. The product family is easy to install and dismantle after use, and performs well with extended service life.

The Carbon-free and Environmental Friendly Dry Masses product family is offered in three engineering-proven GK chemistry grades. The CH-GK80 grade (magnesium based, MgO content minimum 80%) is the standard variant for general ladle permanent lining service. The CH-GK70 grade (magnesium based, MgO content minimum 70%) is the mid-magnesia variant for ladle permanent lining service. The CH-GK65 grade (magnesium-calcium based, MgO content maximum 65%) is the low-magnesia variant with high calcium content for ladle permanent lining service. All three grades deliver Bulk Density 1.8 to 2.2 g/cm³ after 220 °C curing for 24 hours, Permanent Linear Change −3.0 to 0 percent after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours, and Cold Crushing Strength minimum 2 to 4 MPa after 220 °C curing for 3 hours and minimum 2 to 4 MPa after 1500 °C firing for 3 hours.

Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Carbon-free and Environmental Friendly Dry Masses grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
