Products Overview
Our Nozzle and Well Block is a high-performance refractory product engineered for ladle slide gate system service. Upper and lower nozzles are resin bonded products based on corundum, magnesium aluminate spinel, and graphite as the main raw materials. The products have excellent thermal shock resistance, high temperature strength, and good corrosion and erosion resistance. Well blocks of corundum based, corundum-spinel based, and corundum-chrome based have excellent high temperature properties, which can ensure longer service life in use together with nozzles as part of slide gate system.
The Nozzle and Well Block product family is offered in seven engineering-proven SK and SKZ chemistry grades. The CH-SK70 (upper and lower nozzle) grade features Al2O3 content minimum 70% and C content minimum 3% for general ladle nozzle service. The CH-SK75 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 75% and C content minimum 3% for higher-alumina nozzle service. The CH-SK80 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 80% and C content minimum 3% for high-alumina nozzle service. The CH-SK85 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 85% and C content minimum 3% for highest-alumina nozzle service. The LR-SKZ70 (well block) grade features Al2O3 content minimum 70% and C content minimum 5% for general well block service. The LR-SKZ80 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 80% and C content minimum 3% for high-alumina well block service. The LR-SKZ85 grade features Al2O3 content minimum 85% for highest-alumina well block service.
Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Nozzle and Well Block grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards.
