Carbon-free Brick for Ladle Working Layer
Application Industry: Refractories for Steel Industry
Application Equipment: Ladle Bottom and Sidewall Working Layer
Size: Standard brick geometry per ladle working lining design (custom sizes available on request)
Products Overview
Our Carbon-free Brick for Ladle Working Layer is a carbon-free refractory brick product engineered for ladle bottom and sidewall working layer service. The product family is manufactured from high-purity corundum, magnesium aluminate spinel, and fused MgO as the main aggregates, by machine pressing molding technique, featuring high corrosion resistance, better penetration resistance, good anti-spalling and abrasion resistance, and long service life.
The Carbon-free Brick for Ladle Working Layer product family is offered in three engineering-proven LM chemistry grades. The CH-LM85 grade features alumina content minimum 80% and magnesia content 5%-10% for general ladle working layer service. The CH-LM88 grade features alumina content minimum 85% and magnesia content 3%-6% for higher-alumina ladle working layer service. The CH-LM90 grade features alumina content minimum 90% and magnesia content 3%-6% for high-alumina ladle working layer service. All three grades deliver apparent porosity maximum 12%, bulk density minimum 2.95 to 3.10 g/cm³, cold crushing strength minimum 35 to 45 MPa, and permanent linear change 0 to +1.5 percent after 1550 °C firing for 3 hours.
Sourced from our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility, each Carbon-free Brick for Ladle Working Layer grade is engineered to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards. The quality and performance of these products are the benchmark in China. Product Applications
Environmental Friendly Taphole Clay is a refractory taphole mud manufactured from corundum, alumina-silica based materials, SiC, and coke, resin-bonded. The product family delivers good filling-up, easy installation, easy sintering, easy opening, low erosion, and excellent thermal-shock stability under the harsh Blast Furnace Taphole service environment.
Application Industry: Refractories for the Steel Industry and the broader Metallurgical Industry.
Target Equipment: Blast Furnace Taphole of small, medium-size, and large Blast Furnaces.
Specific Application Zones: The Environmental Friendly Taphole Clay is used for blocking the Blast Furnace taphole, ensuring stable and high production of the Blast Furnace while reducing environmental impact in the cast house. The resin-bonded chemistry with moisture content below 0.5 percent delivers improved environment in front of the furnace, supporting high-yield Blast Furnace operation and reducing the working intensity in front of the furnace.
CH Refractories is an Environmental Friendly Taphole Clay manufacturer in China, Henan, Zhengzhou. The complete Environmental Friendly Taphole Clay product is manufactured in our Xinmi City, Zhengzhou, Henan, China facility to ASTM, GB/T, and ISO refractory standards. Each batch is supported by free consultation, on-site technical support, and a dedicated engineering team serving Refractories for the Steel Industry customers across the global iron and steel value chain.
